Careconnect is an information database that refers individuals to available services and service providers within the County of Los Angeles. These service providers may be part of the County, have a contract with the County to be a service provider, or are otherwise non-County contracted service providers. For those non-County contracted service providers which have been designated with an asterisk (*), Careconnect and the County of Los Angeles (“County”) do not inspect, oversee, endorse, sponsor, or approve of any of the non-County contracted service providers identified by Careconnect. Careconnect and the County do not guarantee the quality or availability of these services or the non-County contracted service providers. It is the responsibility of the User to determine the appropriateness of any services to which they have been referred. User understands and agrees that they access these services and non-County contracted service providers at their own risk. The inclusion of a non-County contracted service provider on CareConnect does not constitute and shall not be construed to imply: (1) an endorsement, authorization, or approval by Careconnect or the County or (2) a warranty as to the quality, safety, or fitness of the service providers. User agrees that Careconnect and the County are not liable for any injuries or damages suffered by User by accessing these services or non-County contracted service providers, including for direct, special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, regardless of the fact that these services and non-County contracted service providers were referred by Careconnect.
